While the owner of Shioinoyu was caring for cats in the mountains, a neighbor reported spotting a "beautiful, quiet gray cat" outside. Our CEO, Imamura, quickly stepped in to help with the rescue, and the cat was brought to a local shelter. But as it turned out, this supposedly "quiet" kitty was anything but. She was a wild girl through and through!

With her beautiful, softly colored dilute tortoiseshell coat, she's quite the looker. But her wariness of humans is legendary. She rarely shows herself around people, and so far, there's absolutely zero, nada, zilch chance of her warming up to anyone. Apparently, she has no intention of making friends with humans. Ever.

Still, it's hard not to admire her striking face and fearless presence. She doesn't flatter, she doesn't cuddle, but she's beautiful. A fiercely independent wild girl who lives entirely on her own terms.

We're looking for a forever family with a big heart, a taste for a challenge, and the belief that simply sharing a home with a cat is happiness enough!
