Natsumegu was an indomitable little fighter who somehow kept coming back no matter how many times illness brought her close to death. Her signature move was the spectacularly grumpy face she made whenever a camera appeared. In photos, she could look unbelievably adorable—or unbelievably strange—with very little in between.

She absolutely adored Kero, our company chaircat, and was always rubbing her head against him or curling up beside him to sleep.

Natsumegu was endlessly entertaining to watch, always revealing some new expression if you looked at her long enough. We still miss hearing her one-of-a-kind little “uninii~” meow.
