Collection: Niseko

Age: Approximately 5–6 years old (female)
Coat: Brown tabby
Rescued: 2021, from a mountain village
Current Home: Matsumoto Ukiki ShelterShe was brought in as the supposed mother of a kitten who had been attacked by other cats. But when it turned out she couldn't produce any milk, the whole story fell apart. That's how she earned the nickname "Niseko," meaning "Fake Mom."

A former stray who lived indoors, she's a fiercely independent tabby lady who plays by her own rules. Even after moving to the shelter, she's maintained a carefully calculated distance from humans. She seems to have her own personal code of conduct.

But beneath that cool, aloof exterior lies a playful spirit! She absolutely loves chasing cat toys and has a surprisingly innocent side. She may not go out of her way to win you over, but she's a good girl at heart.

We're looking for a forever family who will appreciate her independent nature and respect her boundaries!
